I bought my first skateboard in 1986 from my sisters boyfriend.I really looked up to him when I was 11 years old.He was the leader of a skate crew called the Street Rats.You see in 80's everyone was in skate crews.All I wanted to do was be a Street Rat but I was to young and the other kids in the crew didn't think I was a good enough skater.So I got my friends together and formed my own skate crew.I remember pacing in my bedroom trying to figure out the perfect name...I remember looking in the mirror of my bedroom when it came to be like a vision from the skate gods...WILD GRINDERS!!!
